Hon’ble Minister of State (I/C) Shri. Sarbananda Sonowal visited Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, Patiala, Punjab and chaired the 45th meeting of the Governing Body of Sports Authority of India. During the visit he inaugurated the 2015-16 academic session of the one-year diploma programme in Sports Coaching, an Indoor Strength Training Hall for Athletics, a Basketball Indoor Hall, and a 150 Bedded Sardar Milkha Singh Hostel for men.
